Matt Davis is from Tasmania, Australia. It's an island state of around 500,000 people south of mainland Australia. Matt started as a volunteer firefighter in 2003 and then started work as a Career Firefighter in 2009. He works in the Hobart fire brigade. The brigade looks after around 250,000 people and has four 24/7 fire stations and one 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday station.
