About Matt Nelson: Matt Nelson has served as the CEO of Pahlisch Homes since 2020, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the residential development and construction industry to the role. He earned an MBA degree from Portland State University and attended Biola University for undergraduate studies. Under Matt's leadership, Pahlisch Homes has grown from approximately 420 home closings in 2019 to 620 closings in 2022, representing $393M of revenue in 2022. 

Prior to serving as CEO, Matt was CFO for Pahlisch Homes. Since joining the company in 2015, Matt has been directly involved in raising more than $1 billion in capital for single-family and multifamily projects and has helped oversee the construction and subsequent sale of 3,000+ homes and 700+ apartment units.

As the CEO of Pahlisch Homes, Matt is most passionate about organizational health and protecting Pahlisch Homes' standing as a best-in-class home builder and deal sponsor.
