Next up on the ABCA Podcast is NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year, Matt Saliba. The Webber International University recruiting coordinator guided the Warriors program to a 43-22 record and their first appearance at the NAIA World Series. Saliba is a Florida native attending Winter Haven High School where he was Polk County Player of the Year his senior season, playing for his Father. Saliba attended Daytona State College for two seasons, Valdosta State for a year and transferred back home to Webber for his senior season. Saliba led Webber to their first regional bid in school history and was named ABCA/Rawlings NAIA gold glove second baseman his senior season. After his playing career, former Webber head coach and current AD, Brad Niethammer, asked Saliba to join his staff as student-assistant. Saliba has worked his way up and now wears many hats as recruiting coordinator & head JV coach. The ABCA Podcast is presented by Netting Pros.
