In this episode of the Venus & Vesta Evolutionary Astrology Podcast I just had to focus on the actions of Mars since he steps into the shadow zone of the upcoming Mars Retrograde, including:

• The Grand Earth Trine of last month gives way to the Grand Water Trine in this month, meaning emotions will be running high and our extra sensory perception will be on point.
• The Grand Water Trine will involve both Saturn (building) and Neptune (dissolving) at different points, but Mars is the key player in the third point in Cancer, again causing emotional struggles to develop quickly.
• Mars is in Caner is the warrior in the kitchen and perhaps a little uncomfortable with all that sentiment, so we must watch out for trigger reactions and family entanglements as part of this Grand Water Trine, but at the same time, protecting the family will be high priority.
• America’s Sun is at 13’ Cancer, and the UK’s Moon is at 19’, so both countries will be part of this whirlpool of fast moving issues and internal struggles out in the open.
• Mars moves into the shadow zone of his upcoming retrograde and then makes an opposition to his overlord, Pluto which dials up the intensity so that decisions around corruption, occupation and war will be decisive and dramatic.
• Mars rules the Aries Full Moon on 17th which will be part of a Cardinal Square, the starter klaxon for angry tirades, and even more war.
• Eris is the third Goddess in a row to be conjunct the last three lunation (with Circe and Lilith), and she has the ability to call out any societal programmes that our not fit for purpose, let along drawing us deeper into war states.
