In this episode of Talking Law Sally Penni is interviewing actor Maxine Peake, famous for many roles including that of Martha Costello in BBC drama ‘Silk’.

Maxine looks back over her career, including highlights such as working with Victoria Wood on sitcom Dinnerladies, as well as how she prepared for roles in legal procedural dramas. She also shares why she believes actors and lawyers have much in common, and why she is so passionate about access to justice.
