Media CEOs make millions of dollars a year, plus benefits, plus bonuses, plus some forms of compensation that us laypeople can't even comprehend.  All this while their businesses tank because everything they show is horrible.  Don't you wish you could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars for being bad at your job?  I believe they call that "failing upwards".
