Guest Heather Owen joins the Men in the Arena to discuss leaving the stability of her full time job to pursue her passion and lead One Tail at a Time ("OTAT"), embracing and sitting with discomfort, as well as some of the trials and tribulations associated with the non-profit world.

Heather is the Board President, Executive Director, and Co-Founder of One Tail at a Time, a Chicago non-profit organization that rescues and shelters homeless animals from overpopulated shelters and provides community resources and future adoption opportunities for the rescued animals. Heather founded One Tail at a Time in 2008 while attending law school, and left her full-time job as an attorney in 2015 to open up the organization's first adoption center and focus on OTAT full time.

One Tail at a Time saved 2,208 lives in 2022 and has rescued 9,470+ animals since 2008.

Jon Sanchez is the founder and CEO of Team Performance Institute ("TPI"), a business leadership and coaching firm. Jon currently resides in Cincinnati, OH with his wife and three children. Prior to founding TPI, Jon spent 6 years serving in the Navy operating as a platoon commander for SEAL Team Three, leading multiple exercises and covert operations in the Middle East and Africa.
