  • Men on Fire Series Part 3: What's Your Motivation To Keep Us Happy?

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

This is the final episode of the Men of Fire Series - Part 3: What's Your Motivation To Keep Us Happy?

This episode is also in video format on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/4YA836lNepc

In the beginning, we focus so much of our attention on the person we are dating/married to that we can sometimes make you lose focus of ourselves. Then, on the other hand, certain life events take place that can make you lose sight of your other half as well.

Hey, I get it – life happens, but when we get off course, but why do we stay off?

I call that “Getting attention but not maintaining retention”.

So that’s basically what this podcast topic is about – how do we work on retaining each other in the relationship?  It sums up all the challenges we face in relationships with this issue. Now don't get me wrong we got tons of more to discuss but for now, check out this podcast and hear what we (Joe, Eric, John, Tory, and Bazz) have to share. You might find it a bit interesting.

  • Men on Fire Series Part 2: Defining a High-Value Man

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

This is Part 2 of 3 of our Men of Fire Series titled: Defining a High-Value Man

Most women want a good quality man, but does that include the traits of an HVM? Everyone's opinion is different and could be quite subjective. Nevertheless, we (Latonia, Big Boz, and Bazz) discuss in this podcast just that.  So check out some of the traits we researched online (www.lovequestcoaching.com ) and see if any of those apply to you.  MSO figured to be considered an HVM, they should have at least 9 out of the 12 listed below. These traits consist of:

    • He communicates clearly.
    • He’s clear on his intentions.
    • He commits to himself and others.
    • He makes over $120K a year for at least 3-5 years (not all high-earning men are high-value men) – can’t be High-Value and homeless.
    • He loves putting forth effort for a woman.
    • He makes plans and follows through.
    • He CALLS and does not rely on TEXT.
    • He is well knowledgeable in today’s current events (politics, news, etc.)
    • He is a positive goal-driven individual.
    • He doesn’t chase, he attracts.
    • His car and home are clean.
    • He’s fun and unique.

Also, this podcast is streamed on YouTube. You can check out the video at: https://youtu.be/ZNBIvvq89_A

    Stay tuned for part 3.

  • Men on Fire Series Part 1: What Am I Asking A Man To Do?

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

Welcome to part one of a three-part series titled - Men on Fire: What Am I Asking A Man To do? This episode is also on YouTube - https://youtu.be/UUdICdnI_PI

Ladies think about that for a second. Men are considered to be the priest, protectors, and providers of the home. If he is doing all of this, what more do you want out of him?

So my questions for the men are:

    • Are you being asked to go above and beyond for your family?
    • Do they even appreciate what you do?
    • Do you sometimes go without, so your family can have?
    • How does it make you feel in the long run?
    • How do you know if you are being appreciated in your home?

    For the women:

    • How do you make your man feel appreciated?
    • Does he even know?
    • What are you doing to show him?
    • Do you put your children before him? What's the proper "order of family"?
    • Do you treat him as the Alpha male in your household?

Well, join us in part one of this series as we (Eric, Big O, Izzy, Tamika, Fatty, Corey, and Bazz) discuss some of the bullet points above. Also, this is our very first streaming episode. You can see it here https://youtu.be/UUdICdnI_PI. We want to apologize in advance - you can't hear Bazz that well...first-time mic mistakes. MSO promises the next one will be on point.

  • Shining In The Background

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

This is Part III which will conclude our “cheating podcast series". Make sure you check out the previous two episodes (34 - Why Do People Cheat In Relationships & 35 - Sex, Sandwiches, and Silence).

So what does "Shining In The Background” mean – simply put it's main chick vs side chick.

The main chick is more visible to the public, official, and has priority in the relationship, but the side chick is always "shining in the background".

Most men don't, and some men do have side chicks, why? What is the benefit of having a woman on the side? Is it greed? Is it conquering the challenge? Or is it because the side chick fills a void that's missing from the relationship? Well, listen in as I have a conversation with my guests (Tonia, Joe, and Tamika) on this topic.

Also, on this episode, I have my first co-host (Tamika from the Hustle Goddess Blog Site) and she leads the discussion on the current controversy around Derrick Jaxn and the negative impact he's made on himself, and the disappointment of his fan base with the current actions of his cheating behavior.

  • Sex, Sandwiches and Silence

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

Chris Rock Said it best “Feed me, Phuck me and then Shut the phuck up”

Men are simple creatures – our “wants are very simple” once we get them, we’re happy...or at least so we think. So let's explore some of the "wants" that can put a smile on a man's face and give me some solace he can look forward to in his relationship.

    They consist of:

    • Food  - It's always been said the way to a man's heart is his stomach - we'll test that theory.
    • Sex - Although it's very important, and if you are in a serious relationship with your partner - there should be no limits and if so communicating them should be in order.
    • Silence - Men fight enough battles outside the home, we don't need to fight them inside our comfort zone. Sometimes we just need silence to add to our internal "male care".

So listen in on this discussion, as we (Eric, Tamika, Big O, Tessa, Fatty, Tonia, Joe, and myself - Bazz) talk about all three points above.  You never know you may get a nugget or two out of the conversation.

I will admit this podcast does get kind of explicit at some points, (so listen at your discretion).  Nevertheless, this is Men Speaking Out -  where we really talk to reveal not to conceal.

  • Why Do People Cheat In Relationships

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

Why do people cheat in relationships?

A study from May 2020 states that 20% of married couples and 70% of unmarried couples experience infidelity (basically CHEATING)! https://comparecamp.com/cheating-statistics/

WHY? Well, that's the subject of discussion on this episode. This age-old question is still a mystery to some people, especially to individuals in relationships who "feel" they are giving their partner 100% of them. Is it...frustration, neglect, lack of sex or interest, finances, no communication, etc.

I employ you to listen in as we (Eric, Fatty, Corey, Tessa, Mika, and myself - Bazz) talk about some of the reasons why this happens, some of our very own experiences around this, and lastly a recommended solution on how to talk through these situations and continue to move forward with your relationship. A very good podcast!

  • What You "Think" You Control In Your Relationship

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

    Happy Valentines Day!

Think about the below questions for a second...

    Do women control sex?
    Do men control the relationship?
    or...
Does the person who loves the least control the relationship?

Listen in as we take our podcast on the road in sunny Orlando, FL (recorded on SuperBowl Sunday) with an in-person dialog (with social distancing) with Eric, Cory, Jon, Joe, and myself.  We talk about all the above questions and we even go a bit deeper in the conversation and discuss communication, sex, and money.  I will admit that part will get a bit graphic, but hey we all adults here right? Women, you are about to find out what some men are looking for in that space. So get your pad and pen ready and take some notes.

  • Transparency and Forgiveness

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

    Happy New Year! Welcome 2021

In this podcast we talk about the following:
    To be transparent:

    • A person does not hide or conceal anything
    • Includes being emotionally transparent – (fears, reveal the inner self, sadness, joys, resentment, anger, desires, point of views, basic and most intimate communication)

    To not be transparent:

    • Conceal Information and offer it up as needed.
    • Can lead to living separate lives – living inner lives privately, building walls, and closing doors within the relationship which leads to the distance over time and often results in a strained and unhappy relationship.

Forgiveness - is often defined as an individual, voluntary internal process of letting go of feelings and thoughts of resentment, bitterness, anger, and the need for vengeance and retribution toward someone who we believe has wronged us, including ourselves.

Is forgiveness Conditional or Unconditional? We can’t forgive with conditions, forgive but not forget?

So which of these are you?

Listen in as I speak with my guests (Joe, Eric, Tory, and Cory) as we dig into the above topics and discuss how some men feel about being transparent and forgiveness.

**NOTE** - the opinions of the guests on the MSO podcast are not necessarily the views of MSO.

  • The Love Bomb

We would love to hear your feedback on any episode.

Wikipedia’s definition of Love bombing is an attempt to influence a person by demonstrations of attention and affection. It can be used in different ways and for either positive or negative purposes. You meet someone, and they seem to be perfect at first (great looks, conversation, intelligence, nice physical features, personality, etc.). They shower you with:

    • Gifts
    • Sex
    • Public displays of affection
    • Compliments
    • And Much More

Then you fall into the trap and find yourself in a serious relationship quicker than you imagined, with no way out. Is that really what was best for you? Or should you take your time and get to know the person first?

We all (men and women) have experienced "The Love Bomb".  Join MSO as we talk about this in detail from a male perspective with two of my life long friends/guests (Joe and Eric).

    Good stuff!
