We venture into the second week of this 11-week series on the names of God with a look at El Elyon. Visiting Pastor Gary Thomas, author of the book Sacred Marriage, shows us how we can trust the God Who rules (El Elyon) in the small things and the enormities of our daily life. If we don't worship El Elyon, the God Who rules, then we will be ruled by our fears. Pastor Gary will look at several verses in the Psalms.

When we talk about the names of God we are talking about names through which God has revealed Himself in the Scriptures; God's names describe His nature and character. Knowing the names of God takes a generic, vague God and gives us insight, knowledge and intimacy with the One, true, living God while it gives us a stronger connection to Him as His beloved children. In this message, Pastor Chad will explain why knowing God (Elohim) as Creator gives us each value and accountability.
