They discuss how the film builds itself around the core twist of the film, the amazing cast bringing elevating performances, and the bizarre legal machinations of this one man show defense tactic. Today on New Movie Monday Griffey, Heath and Sam face an unexpected interpretation of a cursed artifact of the past - Faces of Death. Is it a remake? A Sequel? A copout? It's a fascinating film that attempts to reconcile the violent imagery inundating our everyday feeds with the spirit of the original film that everyone believed was a snuff film. We praise the performances by Barbie Ferreira and Dacre Montgomery and grapple over our expectations vs this new approach to a notorious title.

Synopsis: A woman, employed as a website content moderator, comes across a series of violent videos reproducing death scenes from a film.

Starring: Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Charlie xcx, Josie Totah
