108 Mala Mantra Meditation
Repeat the mantra Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha (pronounced Om Shreem Mah-hah Lahk-shmee-yea Swah-hah) for abundance and protection. Everytime you repeat a mantra or take 108 breaths it brings you closer to you inner awakening with the Universe within you. Try this mantra for 40 days and you will see significant changes in your daily life. Try listening and repeating the mantra once a day, either first thing in the morning or before you go to bed at night for the first 20 days. After 20 days of daily repetition, work up to twice daily. Morning and night or another time that is convenient.
Straw Breathing Technique -Inhale fully through the nose. Exhale through the mouth with pursed lips, as if you are blowing air through a straw.
Benefits of Straw Breathing: Reduce stress and reaction to stress. Improved focus & concentration. Better sleep. Quicker recovery from exercise of physical exertion.
If you are using a mala necklace: Hold the bead closest to the tassel. Say the mantra Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha. Inhale through the nose. Long Exhale through the mouth by using straw breathing technique. Move thumb to the right and repeat mantra the straw breathing. Continue for the full mala necklace or 108 times. If the straw breathing technique is too difficult to do, please use a neutral, natural breath that is effortless and easy to do.
