Metaphysics: A View Through The Veil

Coby Michael, an occult herbalist and author of 'The Poison Path', joins me today to discuss the captivating realms of poisonous and psychoactive plants, dark herbalism and shadow work. Coby introduces us to the hidden potential of these plants in their healing and spiritual practices, as well as their ecosystem roles. Important in our conversation are the myths, realities, and political narratives surrounding cannabis, magic mushrooms, and nightshades. Suddenly more timely today are the dual natures of plants like Belladonna and Amanita muscaria, their medicinal and transformative powers and their resurgence in modern metaphysical and healing communities. Coby emphasizes the need to discover the balance between the empowering and risky nature of herbal medicine and explore how traditional wisdom can guide us today.

On the back of a horse, Ellen Kohn received a spiritual channeling called Be LIke the Wind. Stunned, she wrote down these words from Monty, her second horse, and that became the subject of an entire book. Over the course of the next 8 years, Ellen received multiple messages and clairvoyant signs that she was to be a mouthpiece for three horses who joined forces and provided her with their viewpoints on humanity and how to live an enlightened life. Billy was the first; Monty second and Romeo third. Each horse is unique, bringing a fresh perspective to Be LIke the Wind. Be Like the Wind was clearly a spiritually ordained project, one that left her conscious mind behind as the chapters unfolded. Ellen also shares with us communication from a number of other animal species. What do the animals have to tell us about our lives and times here on earth?
