Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are back to bring you news and show reviews in the weird world of pro wrestling. It’s a pro wrestling podcast, with a decidedly Scottish flavour. On the show this week…
As the popular for 20 minutes in the 90s rock band Staind once sang, “It’s been a while…” but we’re back folks! That’s right after various illnesses and personal issues, Duckman and Peel are back ready to talk SO MUCH PRO WRESTLING! Of course there’s the usual random chats about life, family, football and The Sopranos, but this show is all about the rasslin’
The lads cover the sad passing of Scott Hall and remember some of their favourite matches and feuds he had. They discuss what made him such a special performer, his insane life story, his battles with addiction and his complex personality. The lads also talk about Sunny and her 25th DUI arrest, this time she’s killed a 75 year old man. God damn it. Don’t worry, it’s not all doom and gloom.
The lads talk all the big news coming out of WrestleMania. Duckman didn’t watch it, but George is on hand to fill in the blanks. They talk Cody Rhodes returning to WWE, Undertaker going into the HOF, Steve Austin, Vince, HHH retirement and a ton of other subjects coming off the biggest WWE show of the year. There’s also time to make fun of Shane McMahon and speculate on the ad reads on Undertaker’s upcoming podcast.
Over in AEW Tony Khan has been railing adderall again, so he’s bought ROH, signed a ton more talent and gone on a rant about WWE funding a Twitter-bot farm to hate on AEW. There’s never a dull moment with TK. The lads cover some of the bigger stories coming out of AEW. They FINALLY get to talk about AEW Revolution, plus there’s Duckman’s take on the first TK booked ROH PPV, as well as the usual geek out over the stuff the lads are really enjoying in AEW these days.
God damn it’s good to be back and this show has everything – plenty of laughs, a few insights and tons of pro wrestling chat. So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.
