Midwestern State has a three-match winning streak for the third time this season, and the Mustangs posted a “signature victory” on the road at Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Stang Gang dropped the first set at SWOSU, 20-25, but rallied to win the next three sets, 25-23, 25-23, 29-27, to end the Bulldogs eight-match winning streak. Midwestern State improved its overall record to 10-10 with the non-conference victory in Weatherford, Oklahoma. SWOSU is now 13-7 overall and leading the Great American Conference with an 8-1 record against GAC opponents. Demi Stauffenberg had a season-high 17 kills and 21 digs in the victory. MSU returns to conference play with matches at Cameron and Oklahoma Christian this weekend.
