Mike Soliz

As the piercing vocalist for Militia, Mike Soliz was a central figure in

the history of the mid-1980s South/Central Texas thrash-metal scene.

Alongside Texas bands like Watchtower, S.A. Slayer, Juggernaut and

Helstar, Militia were early peers of Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and

others who rose to international fame. Join us as Mike recalls Militia’s

brief, but storied (and highly collectible) past and brings us up to

date on the band’s latest lineup and album, “And the Gods Made War.”
