Youth sports currently involves 40M children, which presents a tremendous platform on which to develop youth character and life skills. PCA ensures sports are ‘done right’ with programming that is research-based and designed to have an impact.

Since its founding in 1998, PCA has established 18 chapters nationwide, partnered with roughly 3,500 schools and youth sports organizations to deliver more than 20,000 live group workshops, reaching 19.2 million youth.

PCA gains support from a National Advisory Board of elite coaches, professional and Olympic athletes, organization leaders, and academics who share PCA’s mission. PCA is proud to partner with more than 50 national governing bodies.

Bio: Right-handed, former American tennis legend whose playing career spanned the 1960s and 1970s. NCAA titles and USC, five major doubles crowns, and Davis Cup wins for the United States both as a player and captain. Coached by the great Pancho Gonzales. As a 17-year-old in 1960, he and 21-year-old Osuna became the second-youngest Wimbledon Gentleman champions in history. After retirement in 1977, he coached Chris Evert, Gabriela Sabatini, and Yannick Noah, then embarking on a college coaching career at SMU. Joined International Hall of Fame in 1987.

Bio: Began as Head Pro at the Green Tree Tennis Club in 1997, where both junior and adult programs won back to back city championships. In 2000, became Head Pro at Oak Hills Country Club and coached the Junior team to a silver medal in the AAU Junior Olympics in Detroit, Michigan. Moved to be Director of Tennis for the Northside Independent School District where he was in charge of providing tennis to 65 elementary schools, 19 middle schools, and 11 high schools. While at NISD, managed an elite program that produced two Texas 5A state champions and numerous players to play for top universities. Involved in over 10 USTA High-Performance training camps. USPTA 1 certified professional.
