Do you put the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket? In this week’s podcast I encourage you to stretch your mind and think about why you do this and I give you perspective on how you can stop and be happy now, regardless of what else is going on in your life. We each hold the key to our happiness. We choose our attitude and our mood at any given moment. Listen and learn how you can gain more peace in your day by taking control of your own happiness.
in 1965 Burt Bacharach wrote a classic song called What the World Needs Now and the lyrics to that song are just as relevant now as they were back then. This week I encourage you to stretch your mind around some of the lyrics in this song. How do you give and receive love? Do you only show love to those you care about? Do you believe everyone, regardless of their religious or political views deserve love? Everyday we are faced with many choices and we have control over whether we choose love in any given situation. Give yourself 8 minutes of mind stretching exercise and take a listen. You deserve love and you deserve to take the time for YOU.
What are your thoughts on forgiveness? Do you only apologize when you feel you have done something wrong? Are you quick to forgive or do you hold on to experiences where you have been hurt by others? This week we explore some different takes on forgiveness and we learn how letting things go is not condoning someone’s actions but rather it is helping us move on and be happier. Open your mind and give yourself 9 minutes for your mental health. Your happiness is up to you!
Thanksgiving is a time when we all count our blessings but what if we made a conscience choice to count our blessings more? When we hear a “no” we feel rejected, angry and we are understandably upset. But what if that “no” is happening for us? What if we looked at the “no” as an opportunity because a better “yes” is down the road? In this week’s podcast I encourage you to stretch your mind and think about how you perceive a “no”. I’ll challenge you to think back to a time when a “no” did turn into a better “yes”. Take time for you and listen for less than nine minutes. Learn how to start taking control when you hear a “no” and how to move forward to get a better “yes”!

Is there something in your past you’d like to forget—edit it out of your story. Learn how you can write your story to serve you better.
