President Joe Biden takes off the gloves and gives a speech in Philadelphia outlining the dangers that the semi-Fascist MAGA Republicans pose to the country, and the semi-Fascist MAGA Republicans take offense. As if on cue, Donald Trump unleashes his fury to a follow-up MAGA rally two days later, and his attack dog Steve Bannon issues direct threats to Biden and his family. Some think that we're headed for Civil War.

Without a doubt, Donald Trump's lawyers are the worst collection of misfits ever assembled to do this job.  The only thing for certain is that every one of his lawyers...needs a lawyer themselves. It's clear that they are not controlling their client, but the other way around. And their client has a legal death wishThis is becoming a completely one-sided fight with the Justice Department and, thanks to Trump himself, they are going to have no alternative but to bring an indictment.  Meanwhile, the MAGA candidates are stumping on the campaign trail and leaving audiences dumbstruck.

The GOP and their media allies are repeating the lead up to what happened on January 6th 2021.  If the Department of Justice moves to hold Trump accountable, "there will be riots in the streets". Others are discussing Civil War. Meanwhile, Mar a Lago is being exposed as something of a den of foreign spies, while the GOP returns to a familiar refrain of "BUT HER EMAILS!"

So the President fulfills a promise that he made when running for office, and based upon the reactions of the right-wing media and GOP politicians, America has become a Communist hell hole.  Meanwhile, nothing is said by the GOP about the millions that many of these same complainers got wiped off the books when they took the PPP money themselves. Hypocrisy doesn't begin to explain what is happening here.

The MAGA Cult has not only drawn in office-holders and candidates who take on crazy and embarrassing positions, but now they are openly advocating killing those who they may disagree with.  We are in a very dangerous and pivotal time.  Meanwhile, Trump is inching closer and closer to actual indictment on his mishandling of the now 300 documents that he took when he left office. Meanwhile, his cultists continue to throw excuses at the wall to see if any will stick.

As punctuated by the huge defeat of once-honored Liz Cheney of the Republican Cheney political empire, the GOP is now beyond salvation. It's time to recognize that the party is now nothing more than a cult that needs to be dealt with as all cults ultimately are. There is no philosophy or purpose for modern Republicans other than to idolize and cover for the criminal that leads their cult. Lest you think this is hyperbole, listen to our evidence. But what to do about them?  We have our theories.  And have the children leave the room as you listen to the threat that Eric Swalwell received this week.
