The Pentecostal church seems to be obsessed with the miraculous. Claims of the dead being raised here and opening of the blinded eyes there. Justin and Tiffany work through reasons the charismatic church seeks miracles, signs and wonders, and whether these are still happening today.
Scriptures:
John 11 - The Death of Lazarus - was for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it
Acts 19:12 - Even Paul's clothing (handkerchiefs or aprons) that he wore was able to facilitate miracles.
John 20:30-31 -When Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons, and raised the dead, they were signs of His identity as the Messiah and the Son of God
Acts 2:22 - When the apostles performed miracles in the name of Jesus, they were signs of their divine commission and the power of the Holy Spirit

Some of the earliest manuscripts do not include 16:9–20.*
*[Mark 16:9 Some manuscripts end the book with 16:8; others include verses 9–20 immediately after verse 8. At least one manuscript inserts additional material after verse 14; some manuscripts include after verse 8 the following: But they reported briefly to Peter and those with him all that they had been told. And after this, Jesus himself sent out by means of them, from east to west, the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. These manuscripts then continue with verses 9–20]
