  • The Underdog

Celebrating underdogs, focusing in particular on one epic underdog, Steve Rogers. He couldn’t become Captain America if he wasn’t Steve Rogers first. Being a MCU fan, this was fun!

(Trigger warning for some punching sounds in between 2 and 3 minutes)

Zero claims on any rights intended in the use of Steve Rogers and Captain America, it’s pretty clear who the big mouse is that owns those. This is intended solely as tribute and celebration.

  • Pure Presence

I was honored to hang out with Noah Chute (AKA Noble). Noble is the host of his own podcast, Noble Dreams.

We started the conversation talking about the community he created at the outset of the pandemic, The Quarantine Circus, when I first got to connect to Noble. We shared why community like this was so needed, and also how to navigate the situation when some is out of line, and many are screaming to “eliminate” the “problem”.

We went from there to talking about communicating in general, how we can clearly see the results of our society being unable to have hard conversations is having (look around).

We also shared our experiences with how sometimes we appear as messy and imperfect, complete with tics, stammers, stutters, “ummm”s and “you know”s, how it can be triggering to hear the imperfections form ourselves, why it’s important to get over it, and even more important to not let anyone else’s triggers keep your voice contained.

I want you, the listener to feel like you’re at the table with us while we’re having a conversation. Would love to hear what comes through while you listen, and what conversations you may be inspired to have going forward. Because your voice deserves to be heard, no matter what.

Noble’s podcast, Noble Dreams, can be found here, I invite you to check him out: https://www.nobledreams.net/podcast

  • Free Flow

Free flow was the perfect name for this. Because this was EXACTLY what this episode brought.

Emily and I talked about so many things in an hours time: from food rewards to Taco Bell, Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy, damage (to ourselves and others) stemming from our own trauma, communicating our needs, falling in love with yourself before falling for others, how we all have an amazing story within us whether we can see it or not, and there’s even more than that there. Certainly something that will resonate to anyone listening.

Emily Lynch is based out of San Diego, CA, and is a yoga instructor, reiki healer, intuitive coach, and all-around queen.

  • Gut, Spice & Everything Nice

On this episode I chatted with Holistic coach Megan Holt.

We chatted about all sorts of cool things. We chatted basil and garlic, to gut health, how our minds are important in their roles but what about letting our other important centers make the calls they are designed to, such as the heart, gut, and lungs.

We even chatted about cicadas (locusts), how noisy they are, and apparently (new to me) they can be quite tasty.

I learned quite a bit, and also found myself reconnecting to things that I knew yet sometimes we forget when we spin around this crazy wheel called life. This was such a fun ride, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well!

  • Coming Back to Why

This was the perfect name as more than a few times that was exactly what happened in this conversation.

Join guest JoDi Evans and I in this conversation, which is an invitation for us to do the same.

This conversation was free flowing, with no limits or set topics. We went to places such as:

    · Reconnecting to society, social “rules”

    · Stopping and asking ourselves “why?”

    · How the big scary decisions can’t happen without learning to shift the small, everyday choices we make are what lead to possibilities

    · Believing things can happen is what leads to things happening

    · Failing is not the end unless you decide it is

    · Being aware of and being conscious of the information we are taking in…and we’re always taking in things!

    · Where our beliefs and biases come from and how we can learn to understand the world beyond them

    · Planting “seeds” of ideas in conversation while understanding we can’t change anyone.

    · Engaging and connecting with people who see the world in a different way

    · Handling anger and other emotions from others and within ourselves

    · What “woke” REALLY means

    · Shifts in health

  • Where's My Validation?

Why do we insist on seeking validation from people unable to validate us?

After a recent personal experience involving some decisions, where I thought I was making them from, and where I ACTUALLY was making them from… I wanted to explore this some more. I found a couple of articles that helped as well as some comments that were left on my social media that helped to inform me.

Ultimately, even as a learned habit it is still a choice that we make for ourselves to hand over our power to someone else.

Where do you find that you still need outside validation in your own life and how could that change?

  • Ugh, I'm Blocked!

Where do you feel blocked in life? Creativity? Career? Small stuff? Big stuff? All the stuff?

Does it feel like you can’t move forward unless it’s perfect? Does it never feel like it’s good enough? How does that feel in the moment, and how does it feel when you can blast through what is blocking you and make it to the other side?

On this episode, this is what we’ll be discussing. I went through this myself recently, and I’ll be sharing some of that experience to go with some other nice tidbits as well as sharing some comments from social media. This will be well worth your time, especially if you can relate.
