In this episode, we dive headfirst into some of Pennsylvania’s weirdest and most cryptic phenomena, starting with the infamous Toynbee Tiles, strange linoleum messages that began appearing in city streets in the 1980s.

From there, we turn our attention to a more recent—and equally bizarre—mystery: cryptic conspiracy messages found inside food items across Pennsylvania, including loaves of bread, packaged meats, and snack foods. These handwritten or printed notes often reference strange political conspiracies, religious warnings, or apocalyptic predictions. We’ll be reading and unpacking several of these oddball inserts, discussing their possible origins, motives, and meanings.

So buckle up—because this ride through the Keystone State’s strangest messages is going to get wild.
