The Senate confirmation for Biden's Supreme Court pick, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, has commenced. Justice Clarence Thomas was hospitalized over the weekend for a non-COVID flu-like infection. While he's not in court for Supreme Court oral arguments, he will "participate in consideration and decision of the cases on the basis of the briefs and the transcripts of oral argument." The party planning for America's 250th birthday is already a mess, with allegations of "featherbedding, favoritism and misappropriation of taxpayer funds." Plus, the ideas so far are terrible. A man's plan to propose outside of Disney's California Adventure was busted when he was stopped and escorted off the property by staff. Some think it's because his balloons were considered a prohibited item. No word on if he got a yes.
