Here’s more about Kristen….

Kristen Terry, LMSW is from the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area and has been practicing social work for the past 10 years. She was a community practice student but got drawn into the clinical world! She has worked in various settings, including schools, higher education and IOP programs for mental health. She has primarily worked with adolescents and their families doing individual, group and family therapy. Her social work passions are teaching mindfulness practices, incorporating a mind-body approach to therapy and immigrants and refugees issues. She currently teaches in an online MSW program. In addition to teaching future social workers, she is also the founder/owner of The Hungry Social Worker, a virtual coaching program that seeks to help social workers identify and address their money mindset challenges so they can open their eyes to new possibilities in a profession that they love. Basically, she wants to be the social worker's social worker and advocate for YOU! In her free time she enjoys being in nature, spending time with the special people in her life, exploring new places, eating delicious ethnic foods and strengthening her yoga/meditation practice.
