The term may be reasonably new, but the foundational elements behind it are not. In fact, much of what makes up demand generation is perfectly suited for the way consumers (both individuals and business-buyers) prefer to shop and buy.

When you've got the right information available to you, it's possible to make meaningful (and, hopefully, profitable) decisions. For retailers, some of the best information they've got comes in the form of customer data.
Customer data can tell you things like who has bought, what they've bought, how frequently they've bought, the value of their transactions, and more. And with the right data, it's possible to formulate targeted marketing campaigns to get current customers spending more.
This approach is at the core of the work Luke Barta does in his role as CEO of Omni Digital Group. In just 3 years, his company went from a basement to 15 employees helping their 100+ retailer clients grow double digits % year over year!

Influencer marketing is nothing new... though the medium where we find influencers today is rather different from the past. It could be argued that the "original" influencers were the ones with the power of the press. Publishers, columnists, and traditional journalists were able to leverage their relationships with public figures and companies in order to gain exposure for their stories or campaigns.
As media technology progressed, so did the concept of influencer marketing as social media platforms enabled people from all walks of life to become influential voices online. Fast-forward to today and influencers are now a massive industry, with celebrities, bloggers, YouTubers and everyday people making money through sharing their views and opinions on products or services. In many ways, the definition of “influence” has changed since those early days; it is no longer limited only to traditional journalism or those with strong relationships but rather open to anyone who builds an engaged following online.
In this episode, we chat with Danielle Wiley, who as the founder and CEO of the agency Sway Group, supports a large community of influencers and connects them to the right brands for high-impact marketing campaigns.

Imagine a small local business being able to tap into a network of well positioned influencers. Specifically college athletes. Thanks to a 2021 Supreme Court ruling, these young influencers now have the ability to earn money for endorsing products and services, just like professional athletes.
This creates a win-win situation for both the influencers (who are now first fully empowered to make money on their brand) and the business owners who can benefit from the new influence marketplace.
On this episode, we welcome Ray Austin, to discuss this new opportunity, and explore several other innovative ways he's helping connect athletes to businesses and consumers.
Ray is a former professional football player for the Chicago Bears and the New York Jets. He's also an established actor with his current role on FOX's new hit show "The Big Leap" as Treycen.
Ray is the Co-founder & Commissioner of the Fan-Controlled Sports & Entertainment (FCSE), a mobile sports technology platform and the world's first fan-run pro sports and entertainment company
Ray is also Co-Founder and the Chief Brand Officer of ATHLYTR , a NIL (name, images, likeness) Athletic Platform to help ALL student athlete's grow their brand through NIL.

Not all lead generation is created equal. The fact is that many lead generation companies deliver quantity rather than quality. And those services which do deliver the goods, bringing their clients qualified leads, rarely have any sense of what happens with those leads after they are turned over to their clients. As a result a lot of great prospective customers or mishandled, never to convert into realized customers.
Alex Oliveira sees lead generation differently than most in his industry. He is the owner of a lead generation solution called prediq.io. But more importantly, he is a dad to 4, a husband, an entrepreneur, and an information junkie.
