Chapter 3: We’re finally getting some numbers around how much travel into and out of Canada took place during the holiday season. Travel into Canada declined by a whopping 93 percent in December of last year, and the number of Canadians returning from abroad was similarly impacted, 91 percent compared with 2019.
Chapter 4: It’s business as usual in B-C schools after the B117 variant of COVID-19 - first identified in the U-K - was found in 7 schools in the Fraser Health Region. Education Minister Jennifer Whiteside assured parents there was no evidence of transmission in the schools, as the province continues to ignore calls for wider use of rapid tests and more autonomy for individual schools to decide on their own COVID-19 protocols.
