Chapter 2: In the U.K. right now, a new variant of COVID-19 is causing new grief. Air Canada released a statement on Sunday stating that, “Following the Government of Canada's directive to suspend all direct passenger flights from the UK as of midnight tonight for 72 hours, Air Canada is temporarily suspending all flights between Canada and London Heathrow effective December 21.”
