0:00 - Yesterday, DMac asked George Paton if the Broncos roster cuts were impacted by anything they saw in preseason game #3. Honestly, we think they had their minds pretty much made up before the game. 

15:51 - Mid-segment, a burning smell filled the building. We smelled it in studio, in the control room, in the hallways, in the offices, etc. It was everywhere. So we evacuated the building while the fire department investigated.

40:41 - All clear! No fire in the building! We're all safe. Tell you what though...that fire captain was badass. Dude has an epic mustache. That alone was worth the price of admission.

Also, as of right now, the Broncos kept all 3 QBs on their roster. Brett thinks this is pointless. You really only need 1 backup, because if Bo gets hurt again (god forbid), you're screwed no matter who's backing him up.

15:45 - Peyton Watson went on MPJ's podcast and shared his side of the story. He said he felt pressure last season to return from a hamstring injury that wasn't fully healed.
Also, some people are mad about Cale Makar's monster contract extension because of the price tag. It's the most expensive contract in NHL history. When you have a player of Cale's caliber, you pay the man. It's that simple.
