0:00 - UNC got bounced from the Big Dance by VCU yesterday. Love a good 6v11 upset. After the game, UNC Head Coach Hubert Davis had an odd postgame presser. Not in the usual sad, depressed, or angry way coaches get after a tough loss. It was just...weird.

15:26 - We've all been talking about the impact Jaylen Waddle can have with the football in his hands. TDs, yards, catches, etc. But what about his impact WITHOUT the football? When he doesn't have it in his hands? How can he open up the field for his teammates?

32:10 - Oh, by the way...the Madison Mallards (collegiate summer baseball team) is having an "Edmund Fitzgerald" themed night this summer. Really? We're having theme nights about shipwrecks that killed lots of people? Oh, by the way...the Arizona Diamondbacks will offer a healthy food option at the ballpark this season. Oh, by the way...let Jack Hughes have his friggin gold medal puck. The hockey Hall of Fame needs to get over itself. You're not that guy, pal.

0:00 - Brett was worried that Day 1 of the NCAA Tournament wouldn't be quite as electric in the NIL era. And the lie detector test determined that was a LIE. It was awesome! Shoutout High Point and VCU for the upsets. Also, the High Point student radio broadcast was fantastic. It reminded us of a young Vic Lombardi. 
Also, we're wrapping up the Round of 64 in our annual Drop Tournament today! The Vic, Moser, and Brett Regions were pure insanity. Or...madness, you might say. What's in store in the Nelly Region?

14:48 - The Heat hosted the Lakers last night and Luca dropped a 60-piece. Bam Adebayo was asked about it postgame and he had to tie it back to his 83-point game. HAD to. Come on, man.

32:42 - Have you seen what happened with this latest season of the Bachelorette? ABC already has the full season filmed and they're pulling the plug on it. Let's see what our Golden Bachelor Correspondent Vic Lombardi has to say about it.

It's Day 3 of our annual Moser, Lombardi and Kane Drop Tournament! 64 drops from the past year (or so) all competing for eternal glory. But only one drop will cut down the nets on April 6.
For the Round of 64, we're doing 1 region per day! The Vic Region and the Moser Region are in the books! Today, we hit the Brett Region.

0:00 - Even in the loss, the Avalanche still played a solid game. They still look like championship contenders. They're just so incredibly evenly matched with Dallas and they got...sigh...goalied. Otter was a man possessed last night. The Avs and Stars are locked into a collision course. They're bound to face each other in the playoffs, and that series will go to Game 7 OT. It should be the WCF. But because Gary Bettman is an idiot, they'll face each other in the 1st or 2nd round.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets lost and we don't feel good about them at all. Travel issues and lack of sleep don't matter. This is not a serious basketball team right now.

14:53 - Kyle Keefe managed to completely derail our show without even coming on air! What a consummate professional. After that...there are 12 games left in the Nuggets season. Is there anything they can do to change your mind? Can they do anything to convince you they're a legit threat in the postseason?

0:00 - The Avalanche lost to the Stars in a shootout last night, but they looked damn good. This may be military grade copium, but they played a hell of a game. Bednar liked the way they played. MacKinnon liked the way they played. But sometimes the hockey gods give the edge to someone else. Hockey has a razor thin margin for error. The Avs and Stars are destined to face each other in a playoff series that comes down to OT in Game 7. Hopefully it's the WCF.

So today, we had him on to recount the details of the Waddle trade. How long was it in the works? What needed to happen for the trade to be finalized?

0:00 - The Avalanche got SHELLACKED by Pittsburgh on Monday night, and they have a massive game against Dallas tonight. For all the marbles in the Western Conference (essentially). How is Head Coach Jared Bednar feeling ahead of the game? Is his battered, beat up, bruised squad ready?

19:46 - The Broncos had to trade their first round pick to Miami in exchange for Jaylen Waddle. We don't care. Waddle is worth WAY more than a 30th overall pick. He's a bird in the hand. The 30th pick is a gamble at best.

32:12 - Oh, by the way...a former reality TV star just won back to back Iditarod races. Oh, by the way...being the 5 seed in the NBA playoffs is a deathwish. Oh, by the way...Leon Draisaitl will miss the remained of the regular season with an injury, but he could return in the playoffs. Are the Oilers toast or are the Oilers toast?

0:00 - Last night was a must-win game for the Nuggets and boy did they win! They obliterated the 76ers from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Total domination. Even in a blow out game against a bad team, are there positive takeaways? Did we actually learn anything?
