Best of the series....

I really enjoyed this book. I think the main difference was the female lead character Imogene because I liked all three lead male characters from each book. Although she was guarded at first you could always feel her warmth and then she was so loyal and invested. It was a good story and I liked hearing about the other character sometimes and how they progresses. A good series overall this book being the best :)

Great love story!

I have been a fan of Tina Folsom since I read Samsonâs Lovely Mortal years ago, the first novel in her fabulous Scanguard series. I recently decided to read/listen to her Eternal Bachelors Club series, and I am so glad I did. I have enjoyed the first four books immensely. I could not wait to read/listen to Jay and Taraâs story, and I loved it One Long Embrace.

Tara and Jay meet at an anniversary party for a close friendâs parents. Tara inadvertently think Jay is a waiter when she snags a drink from the tray he is holding. Attraction slams into both of them instantly. While normally shy and reserved, Tara has had it with her controlling parents and decides to take a walk on the wild side. She propositions Jay and he accepts, knowing she believes he is a waiter.

Jay Bohannon has recently ended a relationship with a woman he found out was only after his name and money. He finds Taraâs proposal tempting and decides to play along. He takes her to his boat, but tells her his friend lets him live on it while he helps remodel the guyâs house. Of course the house is his as well.

Can a romance that starts out on deceit survive when the true comes out, or will Tara shun him for being a liar, and worst of all the kind of man she does not want to have in her life?

Jay is a fantastic character. I loved the lengths he goes to, to perpetuate his charade, especially getting the ârust bucket.â He is truly a lovable character and drop-dead good looking as well. His care and support of Tara pulled at my heart.

Tara is determined to make it on her own without her interfering parents ordering her life. While she is well old enough to stand up for herself, her manipulative parents thwart her at every turn, keeping her trapped in a lifestyle she does not want. I did question why a twenty-five year old woman let her parents do this, but as the story unfolds, it begins to make perfect sense.

As always, Eric G. Dove brings Ms. Folsomâs characters to life. He does an awesome job distinguishing the male and female characters, giving each of them their own unique voice. His narration is passionately performed and enhances my listening pleasure tremendously.

Although the story line is predictable and some plot lines seem implausible, I loved this story. Tina has a way of getting me to accept the unbelievable. I just love her writing style, and of course her hotter than fire sexual scenes. If you are looking for a book that will entertain and delight your fancy, then One Long Embrace will do that very well indeed.

I enjoy Nancy's stories and would greatly read another.

Iris finds out if she wants children she needs to start trying soon. She has no man and decides to try on her own. Any men that do come around only seem to want advice to fix their current relationships and treat her more like a sister than lover. Geoff is leaving his life behind after his wife decides to leave him for her relationship with his best friend. Meeting a wonderful woman like Iris was not in his plans.

Beautiful Love Story Will It Be Happily Ever After

Iris Chance is at the ripe old age of 32. She has just about everything; her own coffee/tea shop and bakery in Hidden Falls Oregon. She is surrounded by family and friends and is always ready to listen to everyone's problems. The only thing missing from Iris' life is a baby. Teenage Love~True Love

Great characters~especially Edy and Hassan (Wyatt not so much). Culture clash, teenage angst, and a good story. What an ending! Looking forward to Book 2...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This book was really boring. The narrator was very well spoken, but had no animation, made me tired. The book itself was just a snore.

True love?

This is a hard review for me and I didn't know if it deserved 3 or 4 but I felt it held my attention so I gave it 4 . I've never listened to anything by this author, Shewanda Pugh until Edy. Even though I had a hard time rating this story, I would love to listen to the other stories in this series. The author did a perfect job in capturing a teenagers thoughts, feelings, and finding love, but not only did she capture this with Edy but with all the teenagers. Honestly, this story seemed true instead of fiction. Although Shewanda added Wyatt to the story She kept out those horrible love triangles that most of us hate in a story. My only problem with this story is I thought it was to real, plain, and I hate cliffhangers.

Natalie Neckyfarow did a great job as she told this story. I've discovered another narrator that I'll be looking for other stories she's narrated. I received this copy in exchange for an unbiased review.

Yes, I would listen again. The storyline is a good one and the narration is superb!

I enjoyed the Lissy and Nick, but Nick's mom steals the show. Her wonderful mother's intuition and old-world Italian charm.

That's difficult to answer because India Plum's overall performance was fantastic.

The conversations between Lissy and her mom, and Nick and his mom about true love and trust were very moving.

I love Audiobooks because the books come to life. Cris did an awesome job with that.

I am the girl who loves a little humor with my romance. This book has that and more. Add a little sex appeal, two handsome guys both trying to win the heart of one girl, the small town feel and the book is simply Charming. I had reviewed on amazon already but to be honest, I loved the audio even more because it all came to life. Love it!!!

Roller coaster of emotions

A few laughs. A few tears. A lot of frustration. This book runs the gamut. A wonderful story. Something a little different and refreshing.

Absolutely fantastic!! Great characters and a great storyline make this a book you don't want to miss. We get to know the folks of Blueberry Springs, specifically Beth Wilkinson who is looking for her happily ever after. If the next book is as good as this one Jean Oram will have a place on my must read list.

Wonderful, uplifting story!

I bought this story because I like heartwarming Christmas stories. I was more than satisfied! This story centers around a young lady who is supporting herself and her mother by working as a typist at a law firm. Her beloved brother is lost at sea. By chance, she stops in a shop and meets an elderly Chinese woman, who gives her a magical coin. I won't spoil the surprises this story has to offer by giving away too much. Suffice it to say you'll be rooting for Polly, the young woman as well as the other Important characters. It is quite fun to see that even though Polly is quite the proper young lady, she has strength and a spine and isn't going to let anyone bully or victimize her. Her relationship with her mother is great. Polly has a big heart and inspires those who interact with her to open their hearts too...even Ebenezer:) There is a by-line exploring prejudice and how ignorant prejudice is. There is a wonderful, wise and humorous character in the Mother Superior. All of the good feelings that are inspired in the Christmas season are present in this tale. Enjoy it and Merry Christmas to all!

I am in love with Daisy Gumm Magesty and Mercy Allcutt

I read this book because I read everything by Alice Duncan. I am in love with Daisy Gumm Magesty and Mercy Allcutt, the heros of her series. This is not one of those, but I loved it anyway. Polly is an interesting lead, and her story is a great character and the setting in San Francisco was very atmospheric.

i absolutely loved this story. okay, maybe it was a little predictable, but it was also magical and touching and wonderful and sweet and i all but cried a few times, and i smiled a lot and laughed and felt tender hearted.

A very romantic book, I enjoyed it very well. I hope to eventually see more of her books. I know finally read all of Alice's adventures.

Everything "THIS" Alice Duncan (author of the Daisy Gumm series) writes is well written, fast paced and fun. There is apparently another Alice Duncan that has books available on Amazon that are not my cup of tea.

love this series

Good

I don't have anything against alien romance. Actually I love it. The storyline was good .nd enjoyable and a little different. But the reason why I gave only 3 starts is that I don't felt connection between the couple. Yes, there was sexual connection. And it was really strong. But there wasn't any soul type connection. At least I don't felt it.

Another thing at the end there wasn't answered all question. What I mean is that, heroine did what she did for more than one reason. One of the reason was taken care off at the end. But the the other not. It just dissappear. Like it wasnât important. But it was most of the time on her mind, when a hero go all alpha on her ass. So, there was missing on the story.

But in all it was okay to read. And if you enjoy Para/Alien world and was caught by this summary, give it a try. You may enjoy this story more that I. You may even love it. After all we are all individuals. And love different things.

Pour ceux qui aime une histoire romantique un peu différent

J'ai adoré ce livre, je l'avais deja lu en englais mais le relire en franais m'a donné la chance de découvrire et vivre l'histoire d'une faon différente, c'est une histoire romantique-vampire-extraterrestre mais en réalité c'est une histoire d'amour un peut plus osé qu'une simple roman romantique. L'histoire fait vivre de nombreuse emotion, j'ai ri, j'ai pleurée, j'ai eux peur pour Mia et il y avait du suspense en attendant le déroulement des évènements. C'était un super bon livre que tout le monde qui aime des histoire d'amour un peu différent devrait lire.

WOW!!! What a series

read all six books and could not put them down. full of all emotions and Intriguing interest one reads a book for. The Colton family,dysfunctional as they may be, was brave in a time the West was in a great turmoil, they fought for their beliefs and surrounded family with love even though at odds. Author did a lot of research to include a little historical knowledge with family and love. Romance throughout series brought forth the knowledge that the West was dangerous and lives could be short, also to continue the Colton heritage. I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys historical romances and adventures of the Old West.

Very good read

Another great story..I enjoyed this one from start to finish..As always the Colton women were both passionate and strong. Loved the story taking us back to the Apache home in the mountain's.

Best series I've read in ages.

The series was so Good. I read it twice and I almost never read any book more than once. This series is just to good to put down!
