In today’s second hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by reflecting on a great interview he had yesterday with Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer who’s made national news on a regular basis after standing up against the inclusion of Trans individuals in women’s sports. This causes Dom to tell about the newest actions by Bud Light, telling that the controversial beer brand is now sponsoring drag shows involving children. Then, Dom tells about a push by South Philadelphia liberals to ‘behead’ the Christopher Columbus statue at Marconi Plaza, which has been a frequent topic of discussion on the Dom Giordano Program.
Then, Dom welcomes in Tina Descovich, co-founder of Mothers for Liberty, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the continued pushback her organization has received since announcing that their huge annual convention will be happening right here in Philadelphia. This week, the Southern Poverty Law Center called them a ‘hate group,’ which Dom finds absolutely ridiculous after developing a relationship with Tina and her co-founder, noting how honorable it is for mothers to get involved in politics after seeing changes made in their schools. That said, yesterday, the Inquirer published an article noting that employees of the Museum of the American Revolution have revolted against leadership, expressing disappointment that M4L is allowed to hold a cocktail party kicking off the weekend of events.
