This week I bring you another fellow Anatomy in Motion practitioner, Kendra Toothill, who I have know for the last 2.5 years or so and have learnt so much from in that time. Kendra is a fully qualified BSc athletic therapist with back grounds in yoga, strength and conditioning and a whole lot of experience bringing both those eastern and western sides of the coin together.
Over the last few years Kendra has incorporated her knowledge gained through years of study both in the traditional education model as well as through working with the likes of Gary ward and his Anatomy in motion model and has built her own method which she describes as "supporting stuck, depleted women re-ignite powerful radiance through transformative holistic health programs so they can feel good again, trust their body and confidently shine." A big chunk of this is through working with scars.
scars can play a huge role in people physical and mental health and Kendra spends her time now educating and helping woman explore these ares to free them selves up, both physiologically and physiologically to get to the root of their issues, whether that be food intolerances, anxiety, pain and many other issues
This was such a great conversation and one I highly recommend to any one who has had scars that they maybe just avoid, don't like touching or just generally have ignored since they happened.
