This week Jens in NZ and is hanging with her EX, ANDY....dun dun duuuuuuun. She's also getting pissed off at an annoying woman
This week I was fortunate enough to get to sit down with one of my teachers. Some one I have been fortunate enough to learn from on quite a few occasions now, Patrick Mackeown. Patrick is a breath work specialist who is bringing science to the forefront of breath work to allow for a far safer, more effective and efficient practice for both sports performance (with his business, the oxygen advantage) as well as in personal health, especially in and around sleep disturbed breathing, asthma and anxiety, using his background as a Buteyko method practitioner and teacher. We got into a few weeds on somethings but mostly tried to keep it accessible so that all off you lovely people could really learn some great stuff. I was trying to put my nurses hat on in this one as much as possible. you can find Patrick at a few places.

A Little bit of a filler episode to set the mood for the next few weeks. Jen has made it to NZ and is making her way around in her van on her own.
This week Jen is in the hot seat to bring you a chat with her long time friend from her days travelling through Australia back in 2007(ish), Robyn Way. Robyn is a psychotherapist and in this episode they discuss dealing with past life traumas, how childhood traumas that may not even be that conscious within you are still having an effect on your current state of mind. There is also chats about these things take work and time and that there is no quick fix for any of these things as well as well as dealing with judgment from others or maybe even yourself. Jen has undergone a series of treatment with Robyn to help her on her journey of healing and growth and so brings a very personal experience to this conversation. If you would like to know more you can find Robyn on Instagram at @robynwaytherapy and at her website www.robynway.com/au If you would like to listen to episode as a podcast make sure you head over to any podcast hosts including apple/spotify/google or any others you may use.
Erwan Le Corre
As if the guests I have had so far weren’t enough, I have managed to snag a real doozie for this week. Today I welcome Erwan Le Corre onto the show. If you don’t know of Erwan, he is the founder and innovator of Movnat. Movnat is a movement education style that looks to take human movement out of gyms and us the use machines and put us back in to nature. To retrain the human body to move in all the ways that it evolved to move which includes the locomotive skills of walking, running, balancing, crawling, jumping, climbing and swimming, the manipulative skills of lifting, carrying, throwing and catching, and the defensive skills of striking and grappling, and that the most important principles of natural movement are practicality and adaptability.
In this episode we cover everything from the state of human movement and society through to the way physical education (and education) Is taught in schools and how this does nothing to prepare kids for life as adults and much more

We take a deep dive into meditation and the risks it can bring, depending on your personality type, we discuss the graet work that the HHPF are doing with scholl kids to educate them on stress and breath work through the research they are performing and raising money to extend.
I really cant thank robert enough, it was a great great pleasure getting to chat to him.
