Tina treated us to one of her favorites this week with the 2004 indie film Saved!, starring Macaulay Culkin and Mandy Moore. Movie Night Crew? More like Miyazaki Night Crew! Eh? Eh?

This week we felt like watching something fantastical, and what better way is there to get lost in fantasy than a Studio Ghibli film? We drank in the soft colors, beautiful music, bisexual energy, and all the WhatTheFuckery business throughout. Our resident Howl expert Haley guides us through this wizard romp with context as to what exactly was lost in translation when adapting the book to film. Positively tubular to the max!! We TOTALLY felt like experiencing some 90's fashion, outdated slang, and baby Paul Rudd, so naturally we watched the 1995 classic Clueless! An adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, this movie sparked a lot of conversation. We talk about being old, creepy incest relationships, and theories on how raincoat material snuck into the fashion industry.
