Movie Toast News & Reviews

Get ready for some toasty toast. This week the toasters have some movie that you may or may not have heard of but maybe after you listen to this episode you'll rush out to see The Last Shift, Kajillionaire, & Save Yourselves! Or maybe you'll get a thrilling need to rewatch The Bourne Identity. Perhaps you'll decide to sign up for Apple TV+ at the end of the month to watch On the Rocks. Either way you're going to want to listen to this episode.

The podcast hosts with the most toast to boast are bringing you 5 hot slices this week! Adam brings Akira (4k) and Enola Holmes to the table while Dennis watched Never Been Kissed and Gemini Man. Then, both the guys review a new to the U.S. mind-bending Turkish horror film titled The Antenna. So pop in episode 53 and stay toasty!

Once again today's episode brings big changes to our podcast. Not just in one way but in two ways. First off we change our rating scale from a light system to a toast system. After that we have our first movie review for a movie that doesn't even come out until the day after this episode comes out, which is so exciting to the Toasters. The movies that we reviewed today include LX 2048, Antebellum, and The Devil All the Time. The Toasters even get a little frisky and talk about trailers for some TV shows that are connected to movie universes. They talk about the season 2 trailer of The Mandalorian, along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe television show WandaVision

We report some big news about the show going green, Shrek green. After that, we get the toast nice and buttery by talking about

Top Gun

The Babysitter

The Babysitter: Killer Queen

#Alive

and Mulan (2020)

But we have an extra crispy slice of toast when we talk about the Karate Kid spinoff Cobra Kai.

So what are you waiting for? Grab a slice of movie toast before it gets cold.

Most importantly STAY TOASTY

Last weekend had some very toasty new releases that the Movie Toasters can't wait to butter up for you. They also put a little jam on two movies that are classics in very different ways. So grab a napkin to clean up the crumbs they made with their reviews of

The Binge

Jurassic Park III

Bill & Ted Face the Music

Starship Troopers

The New Mutants

Well the Toasters have 8 buttery slices coming at you hot! One of the guys tried going back to the big screen to see one of his flicks (and may have regretted it). The other was sick in bed for the week and watched a big pile of random stuff (guess who that was).

Adam and Dennis review The Lincoln Lawyer (2011), Spree (2020), Starsky & Hutch (2004), The Sleepover (2020), A Bridge Too Far (1977), The One & Only Ivan (2020), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. The Reverend (2020), and Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula.

So plug in those headphones or crank up your speakers and get toasty!

What does Jamie Foxx, Adam DeVine, Chevy Chase, John Travolta, Christina Ricci, & the Dark Mother all have in common? They all star in movies that we reviewed in this episode! This week we reviewed the following movies;

Project Power

Magic Camp

The Wretched

Vegas Vacation

The Addams Family

Grease

So what are you waiting for? Give this episode a listen and find a good movie to watch.

Like always stay toasty!

This week Dennis & Adam have so many pieces of bread and only a two slotted toaster. Luckily they have nothing but time and a wide assortment of butters, and jams to lather on each slice of toast. First up, Adam walks you through the downfall of a deadly assassin in Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons The Movie. Next up, Dennis talks about a smarty pants who loses his mind when he gets a grade lower than an A on a high school report in Dismissed. After that, Adam hides from two of the most feared men in Los Angeles right before they meet their match in The Tax Collector. Up next, Dennis warns us about a malfunctioning toy that goes on a killing spree in the Child's Play reboot. Then, Adam explains what happens when a man who gets pickled stars a pickling empire 100 years later in An American Pickle. Lastly, both Toasters wrap things up while talking about two competitors becoming the best of friends while facing off against one another on the competitive Rubik's Cube circuit in The Speed Cubers.

Let us know if we persuaded you to watch any of these movies. Or if you want to tell us that we were wrong about one of our reviews. You can do so on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, & Discord all @movie_toast.
