For this month's commentary, we decided to watch something that was socially topical. So we watched Kristen Stewart in the biopic Seberg. The movie may be set in the 1960s but it couldn't be more relevant to today's fight for equality.

It's about the French New Wave actress Jean Seberg as she becomes a civil rights activist. Unfortunately, there are so many highs and lows after she decided to stand up for what was right and what was noble.

We know this isn't the typical type of movie that we watch and talk about but hey there's nothing wrong with watching a drama. Honestly, the movie might not be for everyone but it looks beautiful and it has stellar performances. So even if you don't necessarily watch these types of movies why not give it a watch with us?

Also, we recently got word that Brad the Movie Toast intern has gotten a better gig on a larger movie review podcast. We're not going to name which one but we will say we're a tad bit jealous of Brad. Good news for him bad news for us because now we need to find a new Movie Toast interns. If you want to apply please reach out to us on Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, & Discord all @movie_toast. We promise we're not terrible tyrants we would just like someone willing to help us with editing and social media.

P.S. Stay Toasty!

In this review episode Movie Toasters Cory, Tommy, Adam, & Dennis talk about a few good movies that we think you should give a watch.

The movies reviewed include:

Uncut Gems

The King of Staten Island

The Big Lebowski

John Carter

We also talk about the mystery that is our Irish fanbase and how we'd love to hear from them because they're badass!

Brad Update! We got word that Brad the Movie Toast intern is still lurking in the Los Angeles region. However, he has not shown back up for his internship. We need this guy to come back. He seems to be the glue to this whole show.

If you know Brad the Movie Toast intern could you please reach out to us? You can get at us via Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, or Twitter. Please let him know that the office is a dumpster fire of chaos without him. We now have a hallway full of trash and bugs. We have no working toilets. We don't have any crafty so we're very sad about that.

Also please let him know that if he comes back we'll give him 1 day off a week and we'll give him a 15 min break every day. Please let us know what he says about that.

In this review episode Movie Toasters Adam, Cory, Dennis, & Tommy talk about the bad and the ugly bunches of movies released last weekend.

The movies reviewed include:

Artemis Fowl

Da 5 Bloods

Doom Annihilation

Prison Break: The Final Break

Brad is still missing. You might be able to find him at your local Denny's panhandling to fuel his meth addiction.

If you know Brad the Movie Toast intern could you please reach out to us? You can get at us via Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, or Twitter. Please let him know that the trash is overflowing in the office and we now have bugs of all types coming for said trash. Maybe if he hears that might realize how badly we need him. Just ask him when he's returning to the show and then you can let us know.

Stay toasty!

In this review episode Movie Toasters Adam, Cory, Dennis, & Tommy talk about two classics, a movie from a few years back, and one from a month or so ago. I guess there's no sense in pussyfooting around it.

The movies reviewed include:

The Indiana Jones series

Splash

Sully

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge

A quick follow up from episode 55 "A little Tom foolery" our intern Brad walked out on us in the middle of recording that episode. We kind of thought he might have just needed to blow off some steam and te then he'd return to the show. But we thought wrong! We haven't heard from him and we're running out of crafty in the office. There's three heavy set guys on this show and if they don't have crafty they get cranky. Plus we really need Brad to take out our trash because it's making the office kind of stinky.

If you know Brad the Movie Toast intern could you please reach out to us? You can get at us via Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, or Twitter. Please let us know when he's coming back and tell him that we still need him to unclog the toilet for us.

Stay toasty!

In this zany review episode, the Movie Toasters get a little wacky. In their defense, things in the world are pretty wishy-washy. Luckily for you, it made for a mostly comical episode.

Movies reviewed include:

Almost Heroes

Becky

Don Verdean

Just a heads up during the recording of this episode an integrable member of the Movie Toast family walks off the podcast for good. But please don't worry the show must go on. We promise things won't dramatically change without him.
