In the airport baggage claim is the most, or seems to be the most unsecured place. It is ironic that there was so much security to board the plain, but not too much when we disembarked the plane to go to our temporary or final destinations. What's up with that? In this episode, we discuss the struggles of claiming someone else's baggage (other people's stuff) and the implications that has on our lives.

We are doing beneficial work, but not exactly being kind to ourselves in the process. In our episode today, we discuss the ways our lives might be stagnant while we are so busy giving to so many other things.

Little children are truth tellers with no filter. They've taught me a lot about how they deal with the difficulties of life at such a young age. There is a lot they can teach us as adults, if we're willing to listen. In this episode we discuss covering your box to prevent others from dumping on us in our daily life. People will dump their trash on us, but we determine if we will become their dumpster.

***Trigger warning***
This episode discusses trauma and the ways it impacts our daily lives. We take an example from a quote released by KeKe Palmer on social media to emphasize the importance of understanding the stages of an Acute Stress Response (aka Fight-or-Flight). We look at how we physically and emotionally respond when we are not dealing with the traumas we've experienced.
