Kriss & Phenom review Queen of Katwe. On its surface it seems like another stereotypical "rags to riches"/"White Savior" formula movie. But  it's not. It's so much more and better than any of those tired formula movies and is an emotional, heartbreaking, yet feel-good movie all wrapped into one. This movie has depth and is a great movie for those wanting to see an all black cast and a different take on Hollywood's usual formula. It's one of the best movies of the year even if critics don't recognize it.

WE'RE BACK PEOPLE!!! I mean sure, we never really stopped Super Tuesday Recap episodes this year but we're back officially for the Fall TV season starting with Agents of SHIELD and Marvel didn't let us down. The move to 10 pm brought some more gritty violence but also another boost in budget with some great effects with the debut of Ghost Rider. Marvel definitely came out the gate showing why Agents of SHIELD is the best comic book show on Network TV right now and its going to be hard for others to take the crown from them

Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show!

Kriss & Phenom review a movie that didn't need to be made: Blair Witch. This the official sequel to the horrible film from 1999, The Blair Witch Project. We have no idea who thought making this film was a good idea, because they clearly didn't put any effort into making it a good film. Give our review a listen.

As you all know, the Insanity Check was on break over Labor Day Weekend as we went on vacation. Kriss and Petty talk about their trip to Iceland and how much fun it was. We talk about how the trip came about, the flight over, the sights (Blue Lagoon, Downtown Reykjavik, the Golden Circle tour, etc) and yes, even the penis museum.  Find out why Iceland is a really great vacation destination.

Places to Go & Things to Do:

The Blue Lagoon

http://www.bluelagoon.com

Reykjavik Excursions

https://www.re.is

- We used this for the buses primarily to get to our excursion destinations. However, you can book excursions with them but be advised they are more expensive than....

Local Iceland Tours

http://www.local-iceland-tours.com

- We booked the horseback Golden Circle Tour.

Extreme Iceland Tours

https://www.extremeiceland.is/en/

- We have not used this service. However, we were immediately sold when ia tour jeep

sailed past us on monster truck wheels.

Points of Interest:

The Hereford Steakhouse

http://www.hereford.is/en/

- Try the puffin and minke whale if possible (and/or the horse if you're a G.)

Lucky Records

http://luckyrecords.is

- Amazing and expansive collection of vinyls.

The Icelandic Phallological Museum

http://phallus.is/en/

- Do try the red phallolollipops. If you are prone to crippling embarrassment (or are otherwise self-conscious) the chocolates are nice too.
