It is time for us to hear the calls of our own hearts. To release the conditions that have us push and pull at ourSELVES and one another in a race and a world that is driven by fear. 

It is time to harvest our love. To soften our edges and lay down our armour to BE what it is we WISH to see in the WORLD. 

Anew is here. Anew is calling from deep within. 

This musing practise is a call to remember ourSELVES home. 
To untangle from our suffering, fear and facades and meet ourSELVES within the nest of our chest. To listen, and awaken to the actions that are not laced or layered out from the mind, rather have been gathering deep within. You are not alone. You are art and medicine. 

May this musing restore your breath and self sense as you listen to your own heart even just for a moment of reset.

The truth of humanity and our very lives is that we will have times of struggle as much as we have times of expansion. Neither is forever and there are few things in life that we cannot recover from. Navigating adversity, change and resistance can, and often do become the strongest foundation of who we are. These are often the times that create us. There is beauty in these spaces as much as any other.

The greatest human spirits often speak of the times that marred them. The times where the world offers us the choice to close off or to come back with a much more expansive heart than ever before. 

This piece is dedicated to those who make the choice to thrive through times of big change. The times that have us rise and that become the greatest story we come to share.

The biggest obstacles preventing us from accepting compassion from others and exercising self-compassion are the views and thoughts we may hold about compassion and about ourselves. Emotional and environmental obstacles can also be very powerful - and yet what the world and our humanity is craving is more compassion.

Self Compassion - ones ability and practise of holding oneself amongst perceived failure, disappointment and suffering of any kind. To still be able to offer oneself love and kindness amidst any of lifes contractions. Isn’t it time we normalise or at the very least familiarise our struggles and imperfections because everyone goes through them. Everyone.

With a deep passion for reconnecting women, to the innate wisdom of our bodies and our world, she has an intuitive visual reference for what life would of been like, long before we were told ‘what healthy should be’, before the busy and before the technology.

Charmaine is on a mission to change the narratives of challenging times, to empower the next generation of women and to remind us, what it can feel like to live in this modern world, yet still remain anchored in the innate way of being, our bodies where designed to live amongst.

Charmaines own health journey, took her on a healing process of the gut and the mind, as she navigated recovery from depression, anxiety and chronic fatigue which she now sees as one of her greatest awakenings, and greatest teachers. She has helped open the doors of healing for many women recovering from mental health and gut health challenges and loves to practise the simplicities of healing with plants, energy and love.

Slowing down, breathing open life and finding safety and joy in the body, have been Charmaines greatest teachers as she navigated the constant growth points of health, relationship and parenting. This personal journey and wisdom, alongside her training as a Nutritionist, Naturopath and Embodied Healer, have really created a unique way of teaching and leading her family, community and her clients to greater fulfilment in their own lives, through body and soul medicine.
