Regrets, I've had a few… But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do. And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I [collected cards] my way
Each Happy Hobby Sports Card Newsletter For Collectors has a handful of great sports card subjects, helping sports card collectors working with limited budgets!
There are certain moments in our sports card-collecting careers we remember as pivotal to improving our collection. Maybe it was that great card trade you made, or a super prospect whose card you bought early for nothing is now on his way to his 8th MLB All-Star Game.
But quite often, we make those great decisions because we made bad moves earlier in our collecting career, and we learned from them.
I’ve been collecting cards since I was about four years old, and I share all the bad moves I made — from bad trades, to not buying a card when I should have, to not selling a card when I should have. These are my biggest bone-head card-collecting moves!
We’d love to hear what your biggest sports card regrets are! Let’s hear them in the comments below!
