Fall is here! Or, as the boys refer to it: Bette Midler season! The boys are thrilled at the changing temps and changing leaves, but even more thrilled to VOTE. The journal reminds us of simpler times when Cam yearned to be a conservative, and Mike just wanted to get drunk and get tested. Mike walks the fine line between lovable diva and pretentious drama queen, and Cam weighs the merits of a grown up twink.

It's episode 69 and the boys couldn't avoid the titular topic. The conversation goes pretty much exactly how you'd expect–you've been warned Mike's Mom. Topics of conversation also include: common words that are difficult for old people to say, the perils of self-inflicted toxic masculinity, and dearly loved (but poorly behaved) dogs.

This week Cam is startled by signs of aging and Mike may have just found his soulmate. In the journal Mike is enjoying some solo play at Tokyo Disney and Cam is less than thrilled with the image. The boys remember where they were when gay marriage became legal in the US and Mike finds himself totally f*cked somewhere in rural Japan. This week Mike marched his gay, progressive ass into his conservative family reunion and lived to tell the tale. Cam has been busy unpacking and narrowly avoided a familial scandal. In the journal Mike is stumbling around Japan with all the grace we expect from him and Cam is working hard just to read the receipts.

The state of the world ain't great, but the boys are remaining optimistic. Honestly, what other choice do they have? Cam is back from a family reunion and Mike mentally prepares for his. In the journal Mike lands in Japan and the boys make some wonderful, strange, and confusing observations about the Far East.

This week the boys nearly end it all when Cam simply cannot stand for a glaring gap in Mike's gay knowledge. The boys chat about an overlooked risk of oral sex, whether or not everything happens for a reason, and offer some edugaytion on cruising. Cam has some big news to share, and Mike continues to behave badly in bathrooms.

Cam designed gay merch for gay babies and Mike makes a living performing for his arch nemeses: school children. Other topics include interior design by moms, The Secret, the good part of jealousy, and the indignities of a world without public restrooms.

What do pre-ejaculatory fluid and family reunions have in common? They can both get a little sticky. This week some old traumas from Cam's über-religious upbringing rear their ugly heads and Mike *finally* started watching The Golden Girls. In the journal Mike's veganism is challenged... by Mike, as he learns to navigate life on land once more.

This week Mike embarrasses himself as a part of a virtual audience, and Cam reads up on hetero sex lingo. In the journal, Mike wakes up to police officers in his room and his dad's facade begins to crack.

This week the boys wrap up another chapter of the journal; Mike finishes his cruise contract and tries (but fails) to make a smooth exit. A new hookup, an odd Grindr request, and a shocking revelation from Cam all add up to more tushy talk than one episode should probably contain.
