Sam explains that they set their "point calibration" on a 2-bedroom villa over at Bay Lake Tower; however, on their first stay, they booked a 2-Bedroom Lake view at the Grand Floridian, and that changed everything. However, due to the pandemic, many people cannot travel to Walt Disney World for a variety of reasons. Some international borders are closed, some have health conditions that put them at additional risks. We now have a market filled with discounted points that must be used without members or renters. Our advice has always been making an educated and informed decision about what's best for your family. We strongly believe that renting points through DVC Rental Store is a valid option. However, due to the usual circumstances of the pandemic; they may not have a renter available. Rather than letting precious DVC points get wasted, we suggest donating points to local Orlando cast members.
