My Favorite Sister

This week Elizabeth and Sarah bring you the second part in their Netflix Christmas Movies 2020 series. How do they measure up to last week’s slate of movies? You’ll have to listen to find out. First up is Operation Christmas Drop, where they dissect a terrible meet-cute, a mysterious and magical gecko, and Kat Graham’s hair journey. Then they get into Midnight at the Magnolia (a Lifetime/Hallmark level Christmas movie that somehow ended up on Netflix), where the main takeaway is that guys should be treating their ladies to weekly champagne picnics. And of course no My Favorite Sister episode is complete without a discussion about food. This week, pizza, and whether or not the people of Chicago are anti pineapple.

This week Elizabeth and Sarah are kicking off their first of many discussions about the 2020 slate of Netflix Christmas movies. First up, a lengthy dive into the most head scratching “Christmas” movie they’ve ever watched, The Holidate...where they try to figure out what it is and why it is. Then they get into the latest Vanessa Hudgens Christmas joint, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, where the real question is does Prince Edward ever get down with his wife? No one knows for sure. And of course as always enjoy a little random sister banter with talk of all things Thanksgiving and our confusion over why England is trying to make Black Friday happen.
