On today’s episode, I’m chatting with my mate Kian Patel from the AllTerrain95 collective. Kian’s deeply immersed in the world of clothes, creating visual content and real life experiences for a diverse client list and audience. He’s worked with the likes of Merrell, Barbour, Columbia, Size, Manchester United, Gander Gander, Purple Mountain Observatory and loads of others. I’ve known Kian for a while now and he’s a top lad who’s always generous with his time and opportunities. I’m psyched to chat to him about his journey to where he is today. Series 4 recordings are just round the corner so if you’ve got any suggestions for guests, questions or if you wanna send me some lovely clothes to wear, slide into the DMs and we’ll make it happen.
Jake Messer from Bound and UN:IK clothing breaks down some fit pics for us.
This week I’m chatting to Jake Messer. Founder of Bound and UN:IK Clothing.
Jake’s been blazing trails in the clothing industry for about a decade now. I love how he takes a D.I.Y. approach to making real high-quality, wearable garments, championing graphic artists and collaborators as he goes. He’s a top lad with real solid graft ethic and I can’t wait to hear his clothing stories and dig down into what Bound and UN:IK are all about.
If you’re into what’s happening here on MOG then you can give us a helping hand by sharing it with your mates. Social shares are always appreciated but if you could tell one of your ‘in-real-life mates’ about it when you next go to the pub, that’d be mint. Also, we’re gonna be recording the next series pretty soon so have a little think about who’d you’d like to see as a guest and DM it to us on insta.
Cool, right, let’s do the damn thing. This is My Own Garms with Jake Messer…

On this ep, we’re chatting with Mia Williams from the 70s inspired fashion brand MadSeventies. Mia does it properly. Everything about her exudes 70s cool and her forward-looking, eco-friendly takes on nostalgia have been turning heads and adorning the chicest shoulders in music and showbiz for the best part of a decade.
Providing a mixture of vintage and reworked pieces, originally through her mega successful depop account and now on a D2C platform, Mia’s eye for detail and appreciation of culture and craft shine through. I met Mia years ago at a basement runway show in Stoke Newington and I can’t wait to see what she and the brand are up to today.

On this week’s ep, our guest is the very trailblazing Kenny Annan-Jonathan. I first came across Kenny through his sports marketing agency ‘The Mailroom’ where he reps some of the steeziest athletes and ballers in the business. In the summer of 2023 he was signed by Crystal Palace FC in the ground-breaking position of club creative director. He’s held real varied positions at the intersection of sport and fashion and we’re gonna dig down into all that stuff today.
