On this episode I’m chatting with Eniola Aluko. Footballer, lawyer, author, pundit, multi-hyphenate (Note the word hyphenate, we’re gonna get into that a bit today). She’s got a keen aesthetic eye, listing art-collecting amongst her passions and this translates into her clothing choices as well.
Oi oi. Bit of podcast extras for ya here. Stanley Chow breaks down three fit pics. If you've not listened to the main podcast yet then get on it.
On this week’s ep I’m back back up at Native in Manchester and I’m chatting with the brilliant artist Stanley Chow. Stan’s a Manchester legend. Known for his iconic illustrative portraits, his work is everywhere. From the pages of football fanzines and the walls of Manchester’s most storied venues to the cover of the New York Times and in Time Magazine. Stan’s been at the bleeding creative edge of this city for the past three decades and I’m buzzing to talk to him about the changing styles and cultures he’s been a part of.

What's happening mates! Our guest this week is Luke Butler (@oi.lukey on insta)Luke’s a super-thoughtful, adventure-minded, content creator who fucking loves clothes. I’ve met him a handful of times in real life but we’ve been chatting about garms on the internet for ages. He works predominantly in the cool outdoorsy type sector, collaborating on content with brands like Cotopaxi, Size, Carrier Goods and loads more. He’s got a real solid eye for what people and brands want to see online and is in my opinion, one of the most coherent, mindful and fun wearers of garms on my IG feed.

Yes yes my pals what’s happening. This week we’ve got the absolute pleasure of the amazing actress Amber Anderson. She’s also a super successful model (which we’re gonna dig into a bit today), an incredible musician and just a bit of a gem of a person really. I saw her in the final series of Peaky Blinders last year and got to know a load more about her when she guested on my @twoshotpodcast. I told her about My Own Garms when it was just a germ of an idea and when i got round to recording the first episodes, I thought she’d be a good craic. If you like it, make sure you subscribe. We’ve got loads of other ace guests coming up. And if you’ve got a pal that likes clothes and that, send em a little message with a link in it. Say ‘get on this podcast it’s class’. Right let’s crack on. This is Amber Anderson on My Own Garms.
