March 10, 2023 Why it's important to say "White People are not superior"
Phrases like "Black Lives Matter" and "Native Lives Matter" are uttered to counter the historic, systemic and ongoing lie that people of color are not equal to white people. These are important words that need to be repeated. But there is an underlying belief that also must to be challenged just as directly; and that is the lie of White Supremacy. So today, over My Second Cup of Coffee, I will discuss why it is important to repeatedly and clearly state the fact that "White people are not superior".
