Resilience is one of the best qualities you can have and is the best safeguard against stress and burnout. But is it something we are born with or can we build and develop it over time?
Dr Rose Aghdami is an expert in resilience. She is the developer of the highly-regarded resilience-building model FUEL for Resilience which guides coaches, managers and guides people in how to build it.
Seeing a clear increase in the number of people struggling with anxiety and stress - often nearing crisis point, she also developed the app ResilientME as a way to easily access ongoing support to develop and maintain resilience. The app is based on Dr Rose’s clinical experience gained over more than 25 years.
Rose served as the resident psychologist for BBC Radio Oxford, England for several years. The British Psychological Society recommends her as an expert psychologist. A highly sought-after speaker, she presents at national and international conferences.
Today we’re talking about the effect resilience plays in our lives, the ways in which we can build a resilience mindset and why that is so important now more than ever.
