In 2017, the world was shocked by the gruesome murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall aboard Danish inventor Peter Madsen's homemade submarine, UC3 Nautilus. What began as a routine interview about his eccentric creations turned into a harrowing tale of premeditated violence, dismemberment, and chilling lies. In April of 1946, the dismembered torso of a Caucasian woman was discovered wrapped and floating in the Willamette River. Over the next serval months, additional burlap wrapped parcels were found floating in the Willamette and Clackamas River containing additional dismembered body parts. 78 years later, Jane Doe’s identity is still a mystery, so is the truth behind her horrific torture and murder.

Northern State Hospital in Sedro-Wooley Washington has an infamous and haunted past. America’s dark history of mental health treatment and forced institutional living, left patients in over run facilities with horrific and brutal treatments. Northern State Hospitals dark past of electroshock therapy, lobotomies, malpractice and inhumane treatment has made the grounds one of the most haunted places in Washington State.
