The infamous axe murders of The Hill family in Ardenwald, Oregon on June 9, 1911, has left behind a 120 plus year mystery. The victims William Hill , his wife, Ruth and their two children Philip and Dorothy were left unrecognizable by their brutal attack. The case drew significant attention due to the violent nature of the crimes and the mysterious circumstances surrounding them. Despite extensive investigations, the murders remain unsolved to this day.

The Tube Sock Murders was a series of chilling unsolved homicides that took place in Mineral, Washington, in the mid 1980s. The case garnered significant media attention due to the unusual nature of the crimes, as the victims were found with tube socks tied around their necks, leading to the moniker "Tube Sock Murders." The small community was shaken by the brutal nature of the killings and the apparent randomness of the victims, which included both men and women. Investigators faced numerous challenges, including a lack of witnesses and forensic evidence, leading to various theories about the identity of the killer. Over the years, several suspects emerged, but no one was ever charged, leaving the community in fear and the case unsolved.
