Mysterious Radio: Paranormal, UFO & Lore Interviews

My special guest is Kristen Clay, who's here to discuss all things haunted in Salt Lake City. Get her book Haunted Salt Lake City on Amazon. Uncovering ghost stories in Salt Lake City creates a spooky mixture of legend, lore, and local history. A young female apparition likes to surprise guests of the McCune Mansion by leaping from a mirror. Believed to be stationed at Fort Douglas, a Civil War vet named Clem still teases female visitors. Staff at the historic Devereaux Mansion, once a major social center, relented in their vain nightly attempts to keep the lights off and let the spirits continue their eternal party. And nuns of the Sisters of the Holy Cross still visit patients in the hospital they established. The guides of Story Tours' Salt Lake City Ghost Tour reveal characters who can't seem to leave the valley.

My special guests tonight are Steve Sayre, Garrett Sayre and Kelsey Bohlen here to discuss their new must-see documentary, Ghosts and The Afterlife. Watch the Documentary.

Watch on Apple TV

Watch on Amazon Prime

Watch on YouTube

Watch on VUDU

This is a story idea based on the recently released hit docufilm "Ghosts and the Afterlife: A Scientific Investigation," which is the first truly scientific investigation into ghosts and life after death. "Ghosts and the Afterlife" has been on and off the best-seller lists of Amazon, Vudu, iTunes, and Walmart since its release a few months ago and was voted the Best Documentary Film of 2022 at the TZIFF Film Festival. Director and Producers The film's producer and director, Steve Sayre, is a former top-secret operative for U.S. Army intelligence and was selected for Air Force nuclear missile launch. Steve has died twice on the operating room table after a serious military injury, which makes him quite familiar with the topic of life after death from a personal perspective. The project's executive producer, Garrett Sayre, is a former top-secret intelligence officer for the United States Navy who completed 12 years of research into the field of inter-dimensional communications and life-after-death experiences in order to create this motion picture. Experts and Cast "Ghosts and the Afterlife" features James Van Praagh (creator and executive producer of "Ghost Whisperer"), Dr. Raymond Moody, M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Vernon Sylvest, M.D. (pathologist), Dr. Kenneth Rose (Harvard Ph.D. in philosophy and world religions), Psychics Eddie Conner, Reverend Justin Terry and Reverend F. Reed Brown, Dr. Jeffrey Rediger, M.D. (Harvard Professor and researcher into the phenomena of life-after-death experiences and spiritual healing), Dr. Norm Shealy, M.D., Ph.D., Captain Frederick "Skip" Atwater (the Operations Officer in charge of the top-secret military StarGate program that investigated consciousness beyond the physical mind) and many others. The program is narrated on-camera by Kelsey Bohlen with special guest appearances by Jay Thomas, Emmy-award-winning performer best known for Cheers, Mr. Holland's Opus, and Dragonfly. "Ghosts and the Afterlife" was Jay's last film project. The film's trailer can be seen at: https://vimeo.com/746364716 A few recent reviews: "The interviews are excellent, and Bohlen is a good host. Thanks to its focus on science, Sayre makes the most compelling case yet for the afterlife…" -Bobby LePire (Film Threat) "Kelsey Bohlen narrates Steve Sayre's engaging, intriguing, informative, insightful, 72-minute documentary…" -Wendy Schadewald (syndicated columnist) "If you are a fan of paranormal activities discussions, this is going to be a very interesting documentary for you." -Darren Lucas (Movie Reviews 101)

During today's episode, we have the privilege of hosting Dan Baldwin and George Sewell, who will be sharing their extensive research findings. They will be delving into the firsthand accounts of a woman who claims to have experienced multiple abductions by extraterrestrial beings throughout her lifetime. Get his book Paranormal Pendulum III: The Abduction of Lindsey Higgins, the UFO Phenomenon, the Spirit World and Beyond from Amazon.

Lindsey Higgins' abductions by non-human beings manifested in panic and terror she experienced as a child, teenager and adult. She painfully revealed her story for the first time publicly in the Netflix series Haunted. Witnessing her story and personally acquainted with Lindsey, pendulum dowsers, paranormal researchers and ufologists Dan Baldwin and George Sewell had questions, chief among them: how does one research events combining UFOs, reincarnation and direct contact with the spirit world? The answer was clear: Pendulum dowsing. The pendulum dowsing and research developed into a two-year quest. No one had any idea what would be discovered. Baldwin and Sewell simply followed the information they gleaned through their pendulum work, which led them and Higgins into unexpected and astounding places and realms. Paranormal Pendulum III: The Abduction of Lindsey Higgins, the UFO Phenomenon, the Spirit World … and Beyond is that story.

My special guest is biologist, cryptozoologist, and biotech expert Patrick Spain. He is here to discuss the strange and mythological creatures he sat out to amass first-hand accounts of during his travels.

Visit his website About the book: During Pat Spain's time filming wildlife-adventure TV series, he's gotten used to being uncomfortable. There've been rabid raccoon attacks, days spent in the baking equatorial African sun, and consumption of many revolting local delicacies like fermented mare's milk. And then there was Sumatra. On the Hunt in Sumatra details the two weeks Pat spent soaking wet with a National Geographic film crew tracking the legendary Orang Pendak through the forests of Indonesia. In contrast, tigers, leeches, amorous orangutans, Coldplay fans, a guide named Uncle Jimmy, two shamans, car demons, and rogue camera operators tracked them. It is undoubtedly the most inhospitable terrain Pat's ever encountered, with the highest likelihood of grievous bodily harm. But the payoff is his theory about Orang Pendak and a 5 a.m. EDM Tai Chi party. About Pat Pat Spain is a wildlife biologist, cryptozoologist, biotech expert, TV presenter, keynote speaker, author, and cancer survivor with a passion for adventure. Pat enthusiastically seeks his next great escapade and the opportunity to add to his ever-growing list of "things that have bitten or stung him." As the great nephew of the "Prophet of the Unexplained" Charles Fort, Pat thinks of himself as carrying on a family tradition by questioning mainstream science, considering unusual explanations for bizarre phenomena, and investigating things most people consider impossible. In the course of his journeys, Pat's been charged by a silverback gorilla, initiated into a remote Amazonian tribe by participating in the most extreme ceremony in the world, the bullet ant ritual (nearly 1M YouTube views), been 1000 feet under the ocean in a 3-man-sub, almost been shot down in a helicopter, eaten cat in Sumatra and rat in Cameroon, has lain down in a pit of 275,000 snakes, and spent up to 19 hours a day for four years running experiments in a space suit, inside a sterile bubble, in a state-of-the-art biotech lab. His passion for adventure, education, and entertainment is the one constant in his life. Pat has served as a Keynote Speaker at The Royal Geographical Society in London, NASA, and multiple international Universities. Whether talking to some school kids about the 20-foot snake he has wrapped around him or speaking to a group of executives about good training practices, Pat brings the same enthusiasm and depth of knowledge.

My special guest is author Curry Stegen, who's here to discuss his book Walking in The Shadows. You can get it now on Amazon.

About the book:

Have you ever had a strange and unexplainable experience that made you question if it was real or not, because you were taught to believe such things are not real. My name is Curry Stegen and I have been a Paranormal Investigator for close to 10 years now. Before getting involved in the paranormal, I questioned whether ghosts and hauntings were real, or just the result of a person's overactive imagination. That is, until I decided to explore the paranormal and find out for myself if there is any truth to the ghostly stories I read about, watched on television, or were told about by family and friends. After getting involved in the paranormal, I quickly discovered that there is something real to all of it; that there are things that go bump in the night and that these things are really not something to fear, as some may lead you to believe. Instead, my journey has given me a renewed hope that we will all conquer death and live on after our earthly existence. I have come to accept that there is something to many other types of unexplainable phenomena as well, as I discovered by exploring these things on my podcast show. My exploration into these unexplained phenomena have led me to believe that our universe is much more mysterious than I ever imagined. Let me take you on a journey of self-discovery, from skeptic to believer; from a doubter to a believer that ghosts and spirits are not just stuff of people's imagination, but something that can be experienced by anyone willing to open their mind to it. In my new book, Walking in the Shadows of Strangers, I document my experiences as a Paranormal Investigator at over 20 different haunted locations. I have had many compelling experiences at these locations and even a few unsettling and creepy encounters. My journey into the paranormal has been quite remarkable, and even life changing, and I hope you will enjoy letting me share my journey with you.

My special guest is author Scott L. Smith who's here to discuss real accounts of Catholic Exorcisms. Get his book from Amazon.

Truth is stranger than fiction … and scarier! This book contains accounts of real Catholic exorcisms. Many of these exorcism were made into movies, but even Hollywood with all its special effects and spinning heads couldn't recreate the true horror experienced by these possessed children. These true stories of exorcisms are meant to inoculate you against the tricks and traps of evil. It is highly recommended that you read the Pray of St. Michael the Archangel (provided) before embarking on these accounts. The real life accounts of possession that inspired The Exorcist movies and The Exorcism of Emily Rose are described in detail by the original eyewitnesses:

• The exorcism of Anneliese Michel, the heroic real-world Emily Rose

• Brandings and hideous faces appeared on the skin of "Roland Doe," whose exorcism inspired The Exorcist novel and movies

• The exorcism of Emma Schmidt, whose ridiculous outpouring of sludge inspired the infamous vomiting of The Exorcist

• And more, including the original texts of "Begone, Satan!" and the historic exorcism of Vervins, France

Beware! A common thread runs through all these stories. The evil unleashed in these possessions resulted from encounters with witchcraft, curses, and Ouija boards. Avoid these like your life and soul depends on it, because they do! The proof is overwhelming! Possession and exorcism, as well as the devil, are real. Become sober, vigilant, and informed by reading this book.

My special guest tonight is Eric Nuzum takes us on a journey across the globe in search of the truth behind humanity's enduring obsession with vampires—and what he discovered might change everything you think you know.. Get his book The Dead Travel Fast: Stalking Vampires from Nosferatu To Count Chocula on Amazon.

The undead are everywhere. They're not just in movies and books, but in commercials, fetish clubs, and even in your breakfast cereal. Bloodsuckers have become some of the most recognizable bad guys in the modern world, and Eric Nuzum wanted to find out why. He was willing to do whatever it took —even drinking his own blood—in his quest to understand the vampire phenomenon. And he found the answer in Goth clubs, darkened parks, haunted houses, and . . . chain restaurants.
