When the appendices leave a short winter war, how do you film a legend without breaking the lore? The War of the Rohirrim turns Rohan's deep past into anime spectacle, centering Héra while Helm Hammerhand's name still waits to become myth.

In this Mythic Mind conversation, Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) is joined by Thomas Salerno and Master_Samwise for first impressions after one viewing. They talk appendix freedom versus fidelity, Héra as narrative center, the thin establishment of Helm's legend, and where this film sits on the sliding scale between Peter Jackson and weaker Tolkien media.
